I'm Jemma
A Melbourne based UX and Product Designer who believes the best digital experiences are the ones people barely notice, because everything just works. I care deeply about the people behind the screen, and I bring that curiosity and empathy into every project I take on, from the first research conversation through to the final design handoff.
My path into UX wasn't entirely conventional. I studied Industrial Design at RMIT, where I fell in love with the idea that design is really just a way of communicating, not with words, but with feeling. That philosophy has stayed with me and shaped the way I approach digital products today.
Since then I've grown into end-to-end product design, working across everything from evolving a design system to leading the discovery and launch of a brand new product from scratch. I love the full arc of the design process, the messy generative early stages just as much as the polished, precise final ones.
Outside of work you'll find me seeking out good design in unexpected places. Design is everywhere, and that awareness is what drives me to create experiences that make a genuine and lasting difference.
If you'd like to work together or just have a chat about design, I'd love to hear from you.
Hi there!
